For the past 15 years I have freelanced covering professional sports all over the United States. I started my career in the basement of my high school developing and printing black and white film.

Fresh out of high school I found myself covering pro sports for a local start up magazine. That led me to five of the best years of my career traveling the country covering the NASCAR circuit.

After spending some time living in the south I returned to New York to cover sports again. This time things had gone digital and my world started to take the shape it is today. Part of my duties working in a studio was to manipulate images for preseason press information.

I lost my way for a bit, working odds and end jobs before returning to the sports photography world about five years ago.

During my time away from the photography world I had much time to reflect and ponder all of the wonderful advice I was given, but never practiced. This led to my becoming the photographer I am today.
